Size Guide
🧾 Size Guide – Horse Rugs & Blankets
Choosing the right size for your horse blanket is essential for comfort, protection and performance.
Follow the steps and table below to find the perfect fit for your horse.
🐴 How to Measure Your Horse
-
Stand your horse squarely on a flat surface.
-
Use a soft measuring tape (or a piece of string that you can measure later).
-
Measure from the center of the chest straight back to the end of the rump, just below the tail.
→ This is your horse’s “chest-to-tail” measurement. -
Compare your measurement (in centimeters) with the table below to find the correct rug size.
💡 Tip: If your horse is between two sizes, always choose the larger one for more freedom of movement.

-
The shoulders should move freely when the horse walks or grazes.
-
The back seam should lie flat and straight along the topline.
-
The tail flap should cover the top of the tail, but not extend past it.
-
Cross-surcingles and leg straps should be adjusted firmly but not tight.
